Terms of service

The terms that apply when you use Shipfast.

Last updated 8 October 2026

1. Agreement

These terms are an agreement between XQi ("XQi", "we", "us") and the organisation that signs up for or uses Shipfast ("you"). By using Shipfast you accept them. If you have a signed agreement with XQi, that agreement takes priority where the two differ.

2. The service

Shipfast helps you provision infrastructure, deploy and run applications, monitor them, scan them for security issues and understand their cost. It is available as a cloud service run by XQi, or self-hosted under a separate agreement. Features may change as we improve the product.

3. Your account

  • Give accurate information and keep sign-in details secure.
  • You are responsible for the people you invite and for what they do in Shipfast.
  • Tell us promptly at hello@shipfast.app if you suspect unauthorised access.

4. Your cloud and your resources

Shipfast acts in your cloud accounts and on-prem environments using the credentials you provide. Resources created there belong to you and are billed to you by your provider. You remain responsible for those resources, their configuration and their cost, including anything created or changed through Shipfast.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use Shipfast to break the law, to attack or disrupt other systems, to host malware, or to try to get around limits or security controls in Shipfast. We may suspend access that puts the service or other customers at risk.

6. Your data

You keep all rights to your data. You give us permission to process it only as needed to provide and support Shipfast, as described in our Privacy policy.

7. AI features

AI answers are generated automatically, are marked as AI-generated and may be wrong. Review them before acting on them. You decide which changes to apply.

8. Plans and payment

  • Prices are shown on the Pricing page or in your order, and exclude taxes such as GST.
  • Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly in advance and renew automatically until cancelled.
  • We will give at least 30 days' notice of price changes, which apply from your next renewal.
  • The Free plan and pilots are provided without charge and may be changed or ended with reasonable notice.

9. Third-party services

Shipfast works with services you choose, such as your cloud providers, GitHub and your CI. Their own terms apply to your use of them.

10. Confidentiality

Each side will keep the other's non-public information confidential and use it only for the purposes of this agreement.

11. Warranties

We will provide Shipfast with reasonable skill and care. Apart from that, and to the extent the law allows, Shipfast is provided "as is", without other warranties.

12. Liability

To the extent the law allows, neither side is liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits or data. Each side's total liability under these terms is limited to the fees you paid XQi in the 12 months before the claim.

13. Ending the agreement

You can stop using Shipfast and close your account at any time. We may end or suspend the service for a serious breach of these terms. After closure you can ask us for an export of your data within 30 days.

14. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India.

15. Changes and contact

We may update these terms and will revise the date at the top. For material changes we will tell account owners in advance. Questions go to hello@shipfast.app.
